Just Keep Moving
This weekend Michelle will be mostly freaking out about running a 10km race. She and Sue will be taking part in the Samsung Night Run as the finale of their twelve week training programme with Life Style Sports. While she'll be glad to have the running out of the way, Michelle is absolutely determined to stay on the fitness track after, so she's pledging to go for a run a couple of times a week, and walk at least three times a week too. That's where these beauties come in. The new Skechers GOWalk 2, designed with innovative Skechers Performance technologies and materials, are built from top to bottom specifically for walking. She's considering this €65 money well spent.
Hot Tickets
As you may have gathered by now, Marie is a bit of a music fan so her favourite thing this week was seeing a steady stream of tickets arriving in the post. While she may be paying off her credit card bill until this time next year, it will be worth it for a summer of festivals and unforgettable gig moments! Now, where did we leave those wellies...
Stella & Dot
This week, Sue got a very special present from the lovely people in Stella and Dot. They sent on this fab necklace, which she is now in love with.
Award Winning Style
We're a very proud team today, as this week we were named Best Fashion Read at the BOPS. While everything here is a team effort, Cathy really has been the driving force behind our Fashion section on the site so we're all enormously pleased at the recognition for our girl! Doesn't she look good as an award winner?!
Top of the Shops
This week Liz took advantage of being a dress size down and treated herself to some new buys to mark the warmer weather. There was a bit of a haul, and the cards took a beating, but it was worth it for this Topshop satin tee. She's planning a night out this week, just as an excuse to wear it. Sure it'd be rude not to.
Free the Joy
Have we mentioned once of twice that we're big fans of chocolate at Her.ie Towers? Currently, our snack of choice combines crunchy biscuit or crackers with smooth and creamy chocolate. Yes, we're drooling while typing - what about it?
Each yum bar contains four chunks of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate sandwiched between mini LU sweet biscuits or mini Ritz salty crackers. We're leaning towards the crackers here, but we wouldn't say no to either...

In Love With Lucius
This week Grace visited Dublin's The Workmans Club for Brooklyn-based quintet Lucius' first ever Irish performance. In advance to the gig Grace caught up with one of the front women Jesse to chat about life on the road, songwriting and everything in between. Grace always had high expectations for Saturday's show however was completely blown away by the incredible musical talent of the three lads and the fierce vocal performances from the two ladies. The group promise to be back before the year is out and it is a gig that we definitely won't be missing out on.
The girl on fire!
This week Úna finished off the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire. She flew through it but really enjoyed the story and character development. Plus she now feels like she could definitely handle a dystopian world should the situation occur! Now onto Mockingjay.
Monster Madness
Sue, who was sent a lot of treats this week, also got this gem from Warner Brothers pictures, a Godzilla t-shirt. The film is on release in May but she hasn't stopped raving even about the trailers. She might be looking forward to it.
