Crazy World... This week Marie and Grace headed to a very special intimate gig with Aslan in Dublin's Harry's On The Green. the event was a fundraiser for Arc Dublin, a fantastic cancer support group in the capital city. Grace was a little overcome with emotion and may have shed a few tears... The girls managed to nab Irish musical legend and genuine gentleman, Christy Dignam, for a quick photo. Just look how happy the girls are...
Childhood Hero There was absolutely no competition for our girl Mary this week for her favourite thing as on Wednesday of this week, she headed to Croke Park to meet athletics legend, Sonia O’Sullivan. Mary – who has been a fan of Sonia from a young age – was thrilled to get chatting to the famous athlete who was launching the Liberty Insurance GAA National Games Development Conference that will be held in January.
Happy Mornings!
Rebecca received a lovely hamper from Flahavan’s this week which means that she has been having a delicious breakfast every morning – wholegrain oat granola with natural yoghurt and fresh berries. Talk about a good start to the day!
Super Supermac's
Supermac's and Papa John's Pizza sent in a festive feast on Friday. From pepperoni pizzas to potato wedges, there was enough to feed the entire office... not that there was any left by the end mind you! We'll definitely be ordering more of this over the Christmas (party) period.
Festive Fun
Cathy went along to an Alex and Ani Christmas lunch held in Dublin's Forest Avenue restaurant this week. The bangle bracelets have soared in popularity and are selling out in record speed. If they're on your Christmas present list, you should probably move fast! With gorgeous food, Christmas presents and jewellery chat, she was in her element. The below personalised bauble is her new favourite thing...
Pre-Christmas pamper
The run-up to the Christmas season is so busy that it can be difficult fit in a little me time. Chances are that when you do get around to booking it, practically everywhere is booked out. However, it appears that new website BEUTiFi.com has the answer. They offer a huge selection of hair and beauty salons all over the country so you can get an in salon/ call out service simply by pressing a button. Is this the dream? We think so...
Hanging with Hozier
We're big fans of Hozier here in the Her.ie office and while we may have missed out on tickets for his Olympia gig, we did manage to track down a few for Cork Opera House. So, we'll be spending this Saturday night listening to the dulcet tones of the now Grammy-nominated Wicklow artist - woohoo!
Fun at Funderland
Despite a crippling fear of heights, Marie loves fairground amusements so she was first in line to see the new Winter Funderland at the RDS when it opened this week. With an ice-skating rink, circus and tons of hair-raising rides, it did not disappoint and fun was had by all!
Christmas Coffee...
Bewleys Ireland know just how to make one coffee lover feel special... Grace thought Christmas had arrived earlier when she got a hamper of Christmas coffee and festive chai tea delivered to office. Now she just has to make sure that Santa brings that cafetiere he promised!
