Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and according to a sexy new survey, February 14th will be anything but a silent night in Ireland.
It seems that when it comes to sex, we’re a nation of women who know what we like and who aren’t afraid to let our man know when he’s getting it right.
The survey, which was conducted by adult website LoveHoney.co.uk, revealed that 94 per cent of us happily admit that we make far more noise than our men when we’re under the covers.
But that’s not all. Unfortunately for all the fellas out there, 95 per cent of us regularly reach orgasm while using a sex toy as opposed to 51 per cent of us who are able to reach orgasm through ‘normal’ sex.
We fair a bit better in the climax stakes when some oral sex is involved, with 76 per cent of us reaching an orgasm.

There's no silent nights in Ireland, apparently...
“There’s no scientific explanation of why one sex is noiser in bed. It tends to be an individual thing. Some people scream the house down at a concert, others don’t make a sound. It doesn’t mean they’re not enjoying it as much,” said sex expert Tracey Cox.
“One theory might be that since women fake it more often than men do, perhaps they feel obliged to provide ‘evidence’ that they’re enjoying themselves,” she added.
As for why we tend to have more orgasms when we’re engaging in some solo love, it could be simply because we’re far more relaxed than we are when we’re in bed with a man.
The survey also asked Irish couples how they were planning on spending their Valentine’s Day and only 55 per cent said that they would have sex for the occasion.
Other activities include cooking at home (36 per cent), going out for a romantic meal (29 per cent) and a quiet night in (seven per cent).
The good news is that, as a nation, we’re a romantic bunch and 72 per cent of us view Valentine’s Day as an excuse to show our partner how much we love them. D’aww!
