What this man did for his wife during her cancer treatment is proof of real love

Real-life, true love exists and although this might sound like an extreme statement, the latest story breaking the internet explains why.

Californian teen Mackenna Newman tweeted the below photo this week, explaining how her mother Marci has had to undergo radiation isolation treatments for thyroid cancer and to ensure she doesn't feel alone, her father, Jon, set up a desk outside the bedroom. In the caption accompanying the tweet, which has been shared over 6,000 times, Mackenna wrote:

"My mom has to stay in her room in isolation for her cancer radiation so my dad set up a desk at her door to keep her company and I'm crying".

Speaking to Buzzfeed, she said that her dad stayed outside "the entire time" and she "thought it was sweet because they are so in love". Understandably, Twitter users, much like us, were moved by the touching gesture.
