Kensington Palace released some adorable images for Prince George’s 3rd birthday and instead of just enjoying them for what they are people are focusing on one thing.
The images shared today show George playing in the garden on a swing and sitting on a rug while enjoying a picnic with their dog Lupo. George is holding an ice cream in one hand and can be seen offering some to the dog.
It’s that particular photo that people have an issue with. They are accusing Kate and William of animal cruelty because Prince George offering Lupo some of his ice cream.

What looks like a very innocent photo, where the dog isn’t even licking the ice cream, has brought on a flurry of angry comments online which go as far as to say that they are trying to kill the dog.
One person said, “Never give a dog ice cream. At worst: it’ll die, At best: the dog will diarrhoea everywhere!” while another person went further and suggested little George should go to prison for it.
Seriously?
Why is Prince George trying to kill this dog by feeding it a white Magnum? pic.twitter.com/LEvU6D4SeJ

You should never let a dog lick your ice cream, unless you’re Prince George pic.twitter.com/RMiSWc0oJu
