A new film starring Irish actor Cillian Murphy was the Grand Prix Winner at this year’s Odessa International Film Festival.
Broken is directed by Rufus Norris and stars Murphy, Tim Roth and Rory Kinnear and focuses on the themes of Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird.

The film was adapted for the big screen by Irish playwright Mark O’Rowe who penned the script for Intermission.
According to RTÉ, director Kirstin Sheridan was also successful at this year's festival and her drama Dollhouse picked up an award for best actor.

The film is set in Dublin and follows a group of teens as they break into a house.
