The house in Youghal is one of our favourites and it is all down to one man, Pat Carey who has decorated his house not just to bring festive fun and cheer to the area but also to raise money for the Mercy Hospital.
Pat aims to raise money for the hospital after he was treated there himself having been diagnosed with cancer on Christmas Eve three years ago. Thankfully he is in full health now and RedFm told our brothers over in JOE.ie that Pat spent three weeks going up and down a ladder in order to get the lights up.
The fantastic display will be officially turned on this coming Saturday at 6pm with carols on the evening being sung by the local choir and treats and fun will be available for all who come.
Well done Pat – you are a true legend.
