With Christmas Just Around the Corner This is Possibly The Best Decorated House in Ireland!

There’s nothing we like more here at Her Towers than a bit of festive cheer – particularly when it comes in the form of ingeniously decorated festive houses. This one in Cork is currently top of our list, coming courtesy of the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork’s Red Fm. The rebel county radio station are doing a special feature on Christmas lights and have highlighted the houses in the county that have been particularly well-decorated to help raise money for charity. The house in Youghal is one of our favourites and it is all down to one man, Pat Carey who has decorated his house not just to bring festive fun and cheer to the area but also to raise money for the Mercy Hospital. Pat aims to raise money for the hospital after he was treated there himself having been diagnosed with cancer on Christmas Eve three years ago. Thankfully he is in full health now and RedFm told our brothers over in JOE.ie that Pat spent three weeks going up and down a ladder in order to get the lights up. The fantastic display will be officially turned on this coming Saturday at 6pm with carols on the evening being sung by the local choir and treats and fun will be available for all who come.
