Then, recently, she cheated on herself with polyamorist, Ruari Barrett, who decided he wanted to give monogamy a shot for a while.
But wait, it gets even more complicated.
The pair dated for five bliss-filled months and the polyamorist decided that he wanted to marry himself too.
So he did.
So, technically, Sophie and himself are cheating on themselves with each other.

The presenters seemed more than a little baffled by the whole scenario but sure look, each to their own.
Sologamy has become an ever popular trend in recent years with more and more people deciding that they want to marry themselves.
The practice is less to do with not being able to find someone to go out with and more about recognising that you are enough for yourself, and being happy enough to continue on that way.
