Woman shares her festive ‘trick’ for dealing with laundry and people are loving it

Feel like there's as never-ending pile of laundry?

A mum has shared a super handy festive-themed trick to keep her laundry pile nice and tidy - and parents are loving it. Jessi, who blogs under the name Modern Day Mumma, posted the photo on Instagram earlier this week. It shows the laundry pile with things like blankets and clothes layered on top of each other at the bottom, with the smaller bits of laundry piled near the top. And to top the pile off, she placed a colourful holiday tree topper - and it looks just like a Christmas tree. She captioned the photo:

"The best way to avoid doing the washing - turn it into a Christmas tree. It's free. I'll wash this after Christmas or maybe the 'Elf on the Shelf' can help me."

Plenty of parents were quick to praise Jessi for her her idea - and it sounds like laundry things may be becoming a thing this season. One person said:

"Hahaha the tree that never stops giving. I wish mine would."

Another added:

"I heart this so much! It solves all my washing woes and it is also very ethically conscious so you can feel really great about yourself too."

Someone else added:

"I'm going to do this with the kids' laundry! Hahah! Thanks for the idea."
