A Facebook post shared by a woman named Mar Ortiz went viral this week, with people praising its body-positive message.
Mar, whom you may recognise from US reality TV show
Big Women: Big Love, describes herself as "curvy girl in a superficial world".
She posted a black and white photo of herself standing in front of a mirror with the caption: "Someone told me "Mar you're losing weight....' I said 'Really? You think so?'

The reaction to Mar's post was overwhelmingly positive and to date, it has been shared over 33,000 times.
However, there was a little negative backlash and Mar had this to say to her haters: "Ladies always love yourself! To hell with what anyone thinks!!! Here's a non-slutty post for you judgemental internet trolls".
