Once a video gets to the infamous 301 views, YouTube actually stops the count to check how many views are genuine and how many are spam.
The reason behind the 301+ stall.
However, the video-streaming site announced this week that they will now check for spammers in real-time, meaning the hiatus in view counts will be a thing of the past.
