“You Can’t Have It Your Way!” Eleven Things We Learned From “The Cosby Show”

We feel genuinely sorry for all of the kids who won't grow up with The Cosby Show on their television screens. Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable left our television screens in 1992 but we have never forgotten the lessons we learned. Here are just eleven of them. 1. You can't always get your own way. You may want to have it your way but it's not the way the Huxtable house works. 2. A killer saxophone track is absolutely everything. Everything! 3. Don't mess with your mother. Ever. She will end you. 4. Everybody dance now! Dancing is the best therapy. Besides retail therapy. 5. Cake solves most ills. We can confirm this. So can Heathcliff. 6. The cute kid will always get what she wants. Look at her! Adorable. 7. Every now and then, give in. Sometimes it just turns out to be easier. 8. Health lessons... like smoking. Just don't smoke. At all. 9. Old(er) marriages are NOT boring. Just look at these two! 10. If at first you don't succeed... Just keep trying. 11. Everything comes back to family. They will always be there. Always.
