Young Woman Raises Over £10,000 For Homeless Man Who Helped Her When Stranded

A happy ending.

Remember the girl who posted a heartfelt thanks to a homeless man who helped her find shelter when she missed her train?

She has now gotten the chance to pay it forward… in a pretty big way.

Nicole Sedgebeer had nowhere to go when she missed the last train home to Milton Keynes after a night out in London.

However, Mark – a homeless man staying nearby – came to the rescue and brought her to a local 24 hour cafe where she could spend the night, before returning the following day to walk her back to the station.

She later took to Facebook to thank him for his gesture in a post that was shared more than 18,000 times.

Inspired by the positive reaction, she then set up a crowdfunding page which has raised £11,140 at the time of writing.
