Your Pokémon Cards Could Be Worth A LOT Of Money Now

Good new for those who did in fact, catch em all.

Although this makes us feel incredibly old, it has emerged that our old Pokémon cards might be worth a pretty penny if auctioned on Ebay.

Even cards currently being produced could still earn you up to $15 on eBay Mashable report, with prices skyrocketing up to $100,00 for the Illustrator cards which were given as prizes for illustration competitions in 1997/8 (they only ever manufactured 39).

Holographic (or shiny) Charizards of Japanese origin could also be worth up to $30,000.

There are also ‘shadowless’ cards, which were the very first cards produced that don’t have a drop shadow on the sides. Not many were produced so they could sell for $50 a piece on the auction site.

So if you were the person who had the carefully maintained folder of cards and were the envy of the playground, it’s worth digging them out and having a look at how much cash those babies might bring in.
