Russell Brand, actor, comedian and author has made the transition from funny man to social commentator seamlessly, with his regular updates of Trews (True News) in which he addresses issues of concern.
Brand has been campaigning in supporting of tenants at the New Era Estate in London who fear that a US property company may increase their rent after a takeover.
Channel 4 reporter Paraic O'Brien caught Brand on camera for a quick interview outside No. 10 and approached the subject of the rental market being overtaken by wealthy business people in the wrong way.
Things were going smoothly until O' Brien asked Brand about how much he forks out for rent a month.
