You’re Fired! US News Anchor Gets the Chop After First Day on the Job

If you thought your working week was off to a rough start, spare a thought for this poor guy. 

KFYR newsreader A.J Clemente thought he’d bagged his dream job when he won the position of weekend co-anchor, but it quickly turned nightmarish when his first words broadcast on the North Dakota station were “F*cking shit”.

Clemente’s co-anchor Van Tieu appeared to be more than a little shocked, and fumbled her lines as she attempted to take over the broadcast. You can watch the full video here. 

Naturally, the clip went viral, but an apology posted on Facebook drew lots of support for Clemente from viewers who simply found the whole incident funny.

There will be no laughing if off for Clemente himself though, as he has this afternoon confirmed that his job is over before it ever really began, and he has been fired from his position. We imagine more than a few expletives were dancing on the tip of his tongue in that meeting...
