The body-positive summer anthem celebrating thunder thighs everywhere

Orlaith Condon

Summer is here and that means ditching the oversized wooly jumpers and long coats for our summer dresses and denim cut-offs.

And while many of us might feel a little more self conscious in the latter, one woman is here to remind us that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

We still scoff at the 2013 ‘thigh gap’ phenomenon, and it seems so does this musician.

Miss Eaves’ latest track is all about thick thighs, and we can’t help but feel empowered to strut those bad boys down the closest footpath for all to admire.

“I love wearing sundresses” Miss Eaves told The Muse. “So in the summer, chub rub is a constant struggle.”

Girl, we know how you feel.

“This track is really about me embracing my body but also finding the humour in issues thicker people face.”

The music video also features a young girl who, quite honestly, steals the show. And the artist says it was important for her to feature girls of all ages.

“I’m not sure if young girls are about that body positive life, but it is so important from a young age they see a variety of bodies being celebrated and people living happy and genuine lives.”

Now, enjoy the full track below and remember, “thick thighs, sundress, we’re looking good”.
