Headin’ down Stradbally or?
It’s only a mere two weeks until every person in the entire country heads down to Laois for a solid three days of music, food, and getting absolutely wrecked.
Yep, Electric Picnic is just around the corner so if you haven’t sussed yourself a tent (or god forbid, a ticket) yet, you might want to get a move on.
The festival sold out, as it always does, before the lineup was even released, but since then a steady stream of new and exciting acts have continued to be announced as the weeks go by.
The latest one of those confirmed to hit Stradbally this year is none other than Gavin James.
A delightful addition, it simply must be said.

The singer songwriter will be headlining the Sound Garden Stage on Friday evening, August 30 alongside Today FM.
James said that he couldn’t wait to be back down in the field performing for all of his adoring fans, right across from the main stage.
“I can’t wait to kick off the Sound Garden Stage with Today FM at Electric Picnic, it is going to be all of the craic,” be told Today FM.
It will, indeed.
Today FM’s content & programme director, Adelle Nolan, is also understandably excited for the singer to take to the stage.

“To have an artist like Gavin James headlining the opening night for Todays FM’s Sound Garden is unbelievably exciting and further cements our commitment to bring the very best Irish music to our listeners,” she said.
To celebrate the addition, the station are giving away a pair of camping tickets for the festival, as well as the chance to travel down to Stradbally with Gavin and his team.
