It’s not just music: 5 quirky things you can do at Body&Soul

It’s just around the corner…

After patiently waiting for months, we are delighted that Body&Soul is just a few short days away.

There are some amazing acts coming to the festival this year like Le Boom, Bambii and Ships to name but a few. But if you’re not a massive music buff fear not, because Body&Soul isn’t just about the tunes.

There will be lots of amazing non-musical happenings at the festival this year. Here are a few of our favourites.

Immerse Spa Experience

The perfect way to ease your aches after sleeping on a tent floor. The Immerse Spa Experience has lots of amazing restorative water treatments from private freshly-run seaweed baths to bubbling hot tubs you can enjoy with friends. You’ll be feeling very zen indeed.

Light House Cinema

If you’re looking for a more low-key way to spend your evening the Lighthouse cinema in the Library of Progress tent is just the ticket. The cinema takes place every night from 9.30pm and they’ve got some crackers like Aladdin, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Spiceworld lined up this year.

First Tastes

Are you looking for love at Body&Soul? First Tastes invites you to apply for a blind date with a like-minded spirit on Ballinlough Lake. On the date, the lucky couples will be ferried to a beautifully decorated First Tastes raft for an exclusive 30-minute picnic and a glass of champagne. Where the date goes after that is up to you. Leave Tinder at home, this is a much better way to find your festival romance.

The Bulmers Lounge

The Bulmers Lounge returns with a packed schedule of entertainment at Body&Soul this year. An inspiring line-up of pop-up performances will take place over the weekend, while the chilled-out atmosphere of the bespoke tent and bar has become an annual, weekend-long party with the very best in Irish music, song, storytelling and laughter. It’s the perfect hang-out spot.

Vodafone Comedy tent

Is the rain getting you down? Maybe your tent is leaking? One place guaranteed to put a smile on your face is the Vodafone Comedy tent. Now in its third year, the tent will play host to Irish and international comedians over the course of the festival. It’s the perfect place for a little mid-afternoon pick me up.
