Little Mix appear on Jonathan Ross Show without Jesy Nelson, share first pic without her

The first photo on Instagram post-breakup always hits the hardest.

It’s the Little Mix fans who are feeling this one after Jade Thirlwall posted the first photo of the band sans Jesy Nelson. The new normal has begun.

The ladies also made their first appearance on TV as a threesome, with the photo being posted to Instagram before the girls appeared on The Jonathan Ross show over the weekend.

They’re seen posing in all black with the caption simply saying: “The Jonathan Ross Show. Tonight 9.50pm.”

During the show, Ross brought up the obvious absence of Jesy and said: “I just want to explain, because there are three members here of Little Mix, not four.

“You put out a press release this week to say that Jesy is taking some time off for personal reasons – obviously I hope you know this, and I hope she knows this, but everyone is wishing her well and everyone is hoping that she gets through this. I am not going to pry. I know it’s quite personal, but I hope she is fine.”

The three women and the audience all clapped and the subject was changed. So, nothing was revealed there.

A lot has happened with Little Mix over the last few weeks, so if you’re lost, let us fill you in.

A few weekends ago Jesy was missing from the band’s big hosting gig at the EMAs. There was no explanation, the remaining girls just got on with the big night, performing and going on to win two awards.

Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie later posted pics with their awards on the night and paid tribute to their friend Jesy.

A few days later a spokesperson for the band released a statement saying that Jesy would be taking more time off from the band due to private medical reasons. Then, rumours started to circle that all the girls were actually planning on going their separate ways once their current record deal is over.
