Little Mix reportedly have plans to go solo as Jesy takes times away from band

“There is absolutely no fall-out between them and they’re all supportive of each other doing new things.”

Little Mix have certainly been filing up our news feeds lately – and for good reason too.

Last night, Jesy Nelson announced that she was taking time away from the band due to personal health issues, and now it appears as if the rest of the members are also planning some time apart.

According to reports, the Little Mix ladies have plans to work on their own solo careers – news that will hit fans just as hard as when One Direction decided on going in different directions.

A source told The Sun: “The girls have been open and honest with each other, and with their current management team. They have started discussions with some prospective managers and agents about what their solo careers might look like.”

“Some of the girls might end up taking on solo projects with their current management team too.” They went on to stress that “this isn’t about ending the band, it’s about looking to the future.”

Last night a spokesperson for the band revealed that Jesy would be taking more time away from Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne. In a statement they said: “Jesy is having extended time off from Little Mix for private medical reasons.”

Rumours have been circulating that each of the girls have been secretly busy working on their own solo projects, and at the end of their existing deal they’ll part ways.

And as we’ve see before with One Direction and Take That, each singer can have quite a successful career post-band.

The source explained: “They’re talking about trying to emulate Take That, where each member has been able to drift out at times and work on their own projects, but come together at other times to tour and work as a group again.”

The good news is that the girls still seem to be on good terms and this potential news of their split is nothing do with any bad vibes.

“There is absolutely no fall-out between them and they’re all supportive of each other doing new things,” the source said. “It’s an exciting time.”
