The countdown is on!

Heading along?

With only hours to go, Metropolis 2017 is shaping up to be one of the biggest festivals this season.

if you were one of the lucky ones who nabbed themselves a ticket for this bank holiday weekend, here is the low down on everything you need to know before even setting foot in the RDS… you can thank us later.

Line-up

The line-up this year is pretty incredible, despite TLC having to pull out *sigh*, the replacement of acts has certainly helped ease the pain and we are beyond excited.

Plan ahead this weekend and check out the acts headlining each day here, to make sure you don’t miss your favourite artist taking to the stage.

Stages

The festival features four stages.

  1. Main Stage
  2. Warehouse Stage
  3. Red Bull Music Academy
  4. Bulmers Live Stage

All the stages are in close proximity and indoors making it superb for our current sh*tty weather. The main stage is located in the middle making it an ideal navigation point for you and your mates too.

Getting To The Venue

If you are travelling by the DART get off at Sandymount stop and the RDS/entrance to the festival is only a five minute walk away.

Travelling by Dublin Bus? RDS is serviced by Dublin Bus routes 4, 7,7a roughly every 5 minutes from this stop and the trip takes 15 minutes. This stops outside the festival entrance on merrion road.

Taxi? There will be a dedicated Taxi Rank situated on Anglesea Road by the festival.

Want to walk? The festival grounds is a 20 minute walk from Dublin City Centre.
