Mark the date on the calendar.

Niall Horan has just announced a world tour and he will begin it in Dublin.

His Flicker Sessions 2017 kicks off on August 29th, 2017 when he will play the Olympia Theatre. He has spent the past year working on his debut solo album and will now bring his new music to fans in a series of intimate shows.

Opening in Dublin, and then moving on to London, Stockholm, Sydney and Tokyo, the tour then heads to Los Angeles, Mexico and Rio De Janeiro.

Tickets for the Dublin date go on sale this Friday, 14th July at 9am, through Ticketmaster.

There is one way to avail of pre-sale tickets, and that’s by pre-ordering a copy of  Niall’s forthcoming album and receiving a code to enter the pre-sale. You can pre-order the album at here from Monday, 10th July at 3pm until Wednesday, 12th July at 4pm.

Niall and his team have issued a warning about ticket sales, similar to what Ed Sheeran did. They’ve said that only the person who purchases the tickets must be present on the day of the concert for the tickets to be used.

They’ve said:

“Credit card holder’s (the buyer’s) name will be printed on all ticket/s. Credit card holder (the buyer) must attend check-in at the venue on show day with their guest (if applicable) to have their ID cross-checked against purchase list and be given non-transferrable accreditation for entry.

Tickets alone will NOT give you entry to the venue, you must check in as above to receive additional accreditation for entry.
For identification purposes the credit card holder must present the credit card used when purchasing the tickets and must have as matching valid Photo ID. “
