UPDATE: 12 People Killed As Gunmen Open Fire At French Satirical Newspaper Headquarters

12 people have been shot dead after a group of gunmen opened fire at the office of satirical newspaper, Charlie Hebdo, in central Paris.  According to Sky News, five others have been critically wounded in the attack. "About a half an hour ago two black-hooded men entered the building with Kalashnikovs (guns)," witness Benoit Bringer told French television channel iTELE. "A few minutes later we heard lots of shots". Bringer added that the men were then seen fleeing the building. The headquarters was previously firebombed in 2011 after publishing caricatures of Prophet Mohammad and Muslim leaders. According to Agence France-Presse, the attackers shouted: "We have avenged the prophet." The Daily Telegraph's Paris correspondent, Henry Samuel, told Sky News: “According to people on the ground, two masked gunmen burst into the offices very heavily armed, (with) Kalashnikovs, apparently even with a rocket-propelled grenade, and opened fire, leaving several minutes later".
