When it comes to naming your brood, there’s no wrong or right way to go about it.

Perhaps you want to name your child after a family member. Maybe you’re inspired by movies, books, or TV shows. Or maybe, you just want to follow the latest baby name trends.

But for those looking for a super unique name for their baby, it might be wise to select from the list of baby names that are at risk of going “extinct”.

Pregnacare, a UK-based pregnancy supplement brand, recently analysed government data from 1996 to 2022, and determined the names that are becoming increasingly rare.

For girls, the names were as follows:

Averly

Brydie

Carolyn

Cecile

Cheryl

Cheyenne

Christie

Collette

Debra

Delphina

Evaleigh

Flossie

Georgette

Gladys
