Everyone deserves a little break…

With Ryanair announcing that up to 50 flights per day could be cancelled from now until the end of October, news that Aer Lingus has extended its winter holiday ‘rescue’ fares will be music to a lot of people’s ears.

Over the last few days, Aer Lingus has seen record demand for its holiday fares amid the Ryanair controversy and on Wednesday, they announced an extension of its Happy Winter sale. Seats to Europe are up for grabs this October from as a little as €29.99.

European destinations include Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, Nice, Munich, Bilbao and Lisbon as well as popular UK destinations London, Manchester and Birmingham.

To guarantee your travel plans throughout the winter, the airline has urged customers to book by midnight on Monday 25 September on the Aer Lingus website.

Launching the airline’s special October offers, Mike Rutter, Chief Operating Officer, Aer Lingus said:

“We don’t want to see anyone grounded this October so we are delighted to extend our ‘Happy Winter’ sale to include travel from 1 October until end of February 2018 and reassure our guests that Aer Lingus will continue to focus on providing a reliable, punctual and proudly Irish experience”.

For those eager to jet off further afield, the Happy Winter sale also includes fares to Aer Lingus’ 11 North American destinations, direct from Ireland, from €169 each-way including taxes and charges, valid for travel from 1 November to 31 March.
