The 40-year-old Kildare woman broke the news on Instagram, thanking the likes of singer Sheryl Crow, comedian Seth Herzog, actor Paul Rudd and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce for helping her.
Bea posed alongside her famous friends at a US music festival, where she drew a giant smiley face on her bump to reveal her news
The This Way Up actor has reportedly been in a relationship with London-based composer, musician and producer Jack Freeman for nearly two years.
Taking to Instagram, Bea said: “Dignity Intact. Got pregnant so I could try & put something beside Paul Rudd’s face to make him look older.”
She went on to thank Rudd, Herzog, Kelce and “our angel” Sheryl Crow for allowing her to get up on stage during the country singer’s performance to show off her bump “in the most dignified & classy way possible”.
She continued: “Just to note if you use sharpie pen on your skin, it will be there for about two days. Just if you are weighing up what a commitment to an idea is worth. Gentle dermatitis is the answer.”
At the end of her post, she cleared up any confusion over whether or not her announcement was a joke: “Yes I am pregnant. This time it’s not a joke about bread.”
Her clarification is in reference to another post from 2021, where she posted a picture of her bloated belly, which led to speculation about her being pregnant.
Bea also had some famous faces in her comments section, wishing her congratulations, including Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan, Amy Huberman, Laura Whitmore and Jedward.
