Alejandro has suffered life-changing injuries.

A GoFundMe has been set up for 9-year-old Alejandro Miszan. The young boy was attacked by a pit bull in Wexford on Sunday, November 27th, and is now being treated for life-changing injuries.

Locals have gathered together to support the young boy following the horrifying attack.

A GoFundMe has been set up by Alejandros’ neighbour Caroline to help support him during this harrowing time.

“As a neighbour and having children of the same age as Alejandro, my heart is truly broken for his family.

She said the community is heartbroken over the “vicious attack”.

“What trauma and agonising pain this vicious attack on an innocent little boy just playing with his friends.”

She said Alejandro has “a superman bravery and courage”, but he has a long road ahead of him.

She has called on the public to help support Alejandro and his family at this unthinkable time.

“It’s only right to help so I am making this gofundme to donate anything to get this little boy his beautiful smile back and get him back home.”

Over €90,000 has been raised for Alejandro and his family so far.

Yesterday, his brother spoke out about the brutal attack.

He said his brother’s life has been changed forever and he will never be the same.

He told The Independent;

“You don’t let a dangerous dog around kids. Kids can’t defend themselves. I think my brother is a very strong boy for his age. We just hope for the best but he will never be the same again.”
