The amazing way this bride's late son is with her on her wedding day

Becky Turney had her dream wedding day when she married partner Kelly recently but she didn't anticipate her groom's surprise.

The 40-year-old lost her son Triston two years ago, when he was just 19, and he was in her thoughts on her special day, with an empty chair left especially for him.

Just before the ceremony, Kelly told Becky that there was someone he wanted her to meet, 21-year-old Jacob Kilby.

When Triston died, his organs were donated and Jacob was the recipient of his heart so when Becky heard his name mentioned, she was visibly shocked and burst into tears.

Kelly had been planning the meeting between the pair for months because he knew that having Jacob there meant that a part of Triston would be with his mother on one of the most important days of her life.

In one of the photos, which you can see in the below post, Becky puts a stethoscope to Jacob' chest to listen to his heartbeat.

Photographers from Love Adventured were on hand to capture the special moment and the photos were then featured on the Love What Matters Facebook page where the post has gone massively viral.

The post on the LWM page reads:

"I knew about this surprise but nothing prepares you for the beauty of this moment. I met a man named Jacob Kilby yesterday who is alive because of a heart transplant received from this bride's son Triston. Her son couldn’t be here for the wedding day but Becky's groom Kelly Turney, surprised her by flying Jacob up to Alaska to stand in as a groomsman, carrying Triston’s heart. Kelly stopped the ceremony to introduce Jacob to Becky for the first time.

"Everyone was so moved by this and I had to share this amazing story. I had the pleasure of hearing Jacob share his gratitude and plans for a heart healthy life to Triston’s sister before the ceremony. I am so blown away by his story and his amazing outlook on life. You couldn’t ask for a better recipient to receive such a gift".

You can check it out in full above and needless to say it's heartbreakingly touching to see the joy in Becky's face.
