It has been confirmed that the winning €10.2million ticket was sold in Jordan's Centra in Curragh Grange yesterday evening.
Although store manager John Murray doesn’t know who has been granted a new-found fortune, he could confirm that the winning Lotto ticket was played with chosen number, and not a quickpick.
Speaking about the run of luck, John said:
"Speculation if rife, the atmosphere in the shop is fantastic – we're absolutely delighted.
"We hope that it was somebody in the area … it would be great if it was one of the residents in the estate. And if not, best of luck to whoever it was that won it."
