Aubrey Plaza is expecting her first child with partner Chris Abbott, with the baby due this fall, a source told People.
“It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,” the source says, adding that “they feel very blessed,” the source said.
Aubrey's rep has since confirmed the news.
Plaza (41) and Abbott (40) have previously shared the screen and stage, starring together in the 2020 film Black Bear and the 2023 off-Broadway revival of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
Abbott is currently starring on Broadway in the revival of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman opposite Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf.
The news of Plaza’s pregnancy comes over a year after the death of her husband, screenwriter and director Baena, who died by suicide in early 2025.
Aubrey has kept her baby bump under tight wraps as she sat front row at Paris Week last month.
At the Loewe show, the actress stepped out in an oversized leather jacket layered over a red jumper, paired with sleek ankle boots, with no visible hint of a baby bump.
