“I think it’s finally settling on me now that I will truly never get to see you again.”
A model who claims she was Avicii’s “secret” girlfriend has paid a heartbreaking tribute to the late DJ.
In the early hours of Friday morning, Tereza Kačerová a series of posts, including a montage of photos of her alleged relationship with the 28-year-old.

The pictures include photos of Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, doting on her young son Luka.
Others include them on vacation together, cuddling, and just spending time together – including one of the photos, which was said to be from their first date.
She followed up the montage with a two-part letter, which revealed her heartache over the death of the DJ.
She wrote:
“Dear Tim,
“I’ve spent the last days waiting to wake up, waiting for someone to tell me that this is some sick joke, some awful mistake.
“I think it’s finally settling on me now that I will truly never get to see you again.”
The post continued to explain that she had reached out to his friends after the news of the DJ’s death, “demanding proof” as she didn’t believe it.

But she finally broke down when she saw that his Wikipedia page had been changed.
The post continued:
“It didn’t make any sense. You are too young and wonderful and I love you too much for you to have that written by your name.
“I kept looking away, and when I’d look back, it’d still be there – foreign and confusing.”
She went on to explain that they had kept their reported romance out of the spotlight, and that they were planning to go public after starting a family together.
Tereza continued:
“I was always very set on keeping our relationship private because I wanted it to be ours and ours only and wanted no part in this madness.
“But I thought, if I’m going to share this with the world it wil be when I’m pregnant with our child.
“Ohhh how that plan went awry.”

She paid further tribute to the DJ, who passed away last Friday in Muscat, Oman.
She continued:
“I used to tell you that I would keep you forever and that what a big word ‘forever’ was. But now ‘never’ seems so much bigger.
“Las time we were at an airport, they called out ‘Burgling, Garret and Kacerova, please get to the gate – last call.’
“We made it, you springing with Luka on your shoulders and me with the stroller and our stuff loaded into it; both of us out of breath and ready to strange each other.
“I thought, ‘I never wanna hear that on the loudspeakers at the airport every again.’
“Now it would be music to my ears.”
