Actor Bill Cosby will reportedly not face any charges of sexual assault for an incident that allegedly occurred in Los Angeles in 1974.
According to reports, the Los Angeles Police Department had officially opened an investigation into allegations made against the actor by Judy Huth. She had claimed that Cosby had assaulted her when she was 15 years of age, allegedly forcing her to perform a sex act on him at the Playboy mansion.
Reports have stated that the District Attorney’s Office did not file the charge as the statute of limitations had expired. It was also revealed that Huth also has a civil case against the comedian.
A number of women have alleged that Cosby assaulted them in the past – all of which Cosby’s lawyer has denied or dismissed on his behalf.
The recent accusations have seen a number of TV projects the actor was working on cancelled.
