Police in England have launched an investigation following the discovery of two female bodies. A 17-year-old girl and a 42-year-old woman were found dead. Police discovered the bodies at a property outside of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. They were called to a property on Shorefield Road at 2 pm on Thursday, December 29th. The bodies of a woman and a teenage girl were found at the Shorefield Road property. Their cause of death is not yet known, police said. Police also revealed that both women are related to one another, but didn't give any further details on their relationship. Both women's deaths are being treated as "unexplained but not suspicious". A file is now being prepared for the coroner. The family has been told about their deaths. They're receiving specialist support during this unthinkable time. A spokesperson for Hampshire Police told Sky News; "We were called just after 1.45 pm on Thursday 29 December. "A 17-year-old girl and 42-year-old woman have been found at an address in Shorefield Road, Downton. "The deaths are being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious," the spokesperson continued. "Their family has also been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner." Investigations are ongoing.
