A body believed to be that of missing teenager Chloe Kinsella has been found.
The 15-year old teenager has been missing since Saturday night. She was last spotted at her home in Kenyon Avenue, Kileely at around 8:15 pm.
No formal identification has been made yet and the body has been moved to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem examination.
Gardaí in Limerick made the grim discovery while searching the river Shannon at Thomond Bridge near the city’s King John’s Castle.

16-year old Chloe
There had been a huge search in place since Saturday with hundreds of people joining to help find Chloe.
The Irish Search Dogs, based in Cork, were brought in by Gardaí to assist in the search, due to their expertise in finding people who have been located underground or underwater.
A garda spokesperson said: "The body was recovered at Brown's Quay in the Thomondgate area of Co. Limerick and has been removed to Limerick University Hospital."
