"When Toby's family no longer wanted him, they gave him to another family. "But Toby missed them, and walked 12 miles (19km) back to his home. "When he arrived, he was met with heartbreak. "The family he thought had loved him took him to a shelter and asked staff to euthanize him. "The shelter called us at the SPCA to ask if we could take him in and help him find a new family. And while it took a few weeks of waiting, he did manage to find his furver home. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhmI4SolsvG/?taken-by=a.cat.named.toby On April 13, Toby was adopted - and now lives in a home with three siblings, one cat one and two human ones. His new owners have set up an Instagram account, letting people across the globe who have been moved by Toby's story keep up with his adventures.
