A mystery Irish lotto winner has just 24 hours left to collect their €2.9m jackpot before it expires.
The lucky ticket was bought in Tesco in Claremorris on November 29th but the owner has failed to collect their prize and will lose the money if they don't identify themselves in the next 24 hours.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery told the Irish Mirror that the €3 QuickPick was bought just hours before the Saturday draw, which saw the numbers 7, 8, 18, 28, 35, 39 and bonus 37 drawn.
"The deadline is Friday, February 27th and we close at 5.30pm so they would have to present the prize here in person before then. If the prize isn't claimed by the 90 days, the funds are used to promote the National Lottery and fund special draws, which in turn increases the funds raised for good causes," she said.
"We're asking everyone to check their homes, workplaces, anywhere they can think of.”
