Be careful out there!

Everyone is being urged to use caution on this morning as frost covers the country.

Drivers especially are being asked to take it slow on the road, as to not cause minor or major accidents.

However, according to reports, it seems to be parts of Leinster that have been hit the hardest.

AA Roadwatch has tweeted that many parts of Leinster, including Mullingar, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wicklow have been hit with widespread frost.

Met Éireann has also said that there’s icy patches and fog this morning, but it will clear s the day progresses.

No matter where you’re off to today, be careful and stay safe.
