Detectives investigating the disappearance of Madeline McCann are due to release an image of a new suspect.
It has been six years since Madeline, then almost 4-years-old, went missing in Praia da Luz, in Portugal, from the McCann family holiday apartment as her parents, Kate and Gerry, dined at a nearby restaurant with friends.
Last week Scotland Yard revealed that new “substantive” and “different” material had been uncovered that could be key in solving Madeline’s disappearance.
Sky News reports that British Police want to question a man who, according to new eye-witnesses, was seen around the apartment vicinity at the relevant times the night the toddler vanished.

Madeleine McCann disappeared in Praia da Luz in the Algarve on 3rd May, 2007.
Martin Brunt, Crime Correspondent for Sky revealed that Scotland Yard will be producing an artist’s impression of the suspect within the next few days.
"In the next couple of days Scotland Yard are going to put out an artist's impression, an e-fit, of this man, who is clearly being regarded as a suspect."
"They will give some idea of what witnesses have said about his behaviour, but he fits into the picture," he continued.
"Gerry and Kate McCann, I believe, have been shown it, and it might give some idea as to why they have been so upbeat in the last few days, saying how greatly encouraged they are by the work that Scotland Yard has been doing."
The McCanns will make a fresh television appeal Monday 14th October, appearing on an episode of the BBC’s Crimewatch.
The programme will also feature a reconstruction of the "latest, most detailed understanding" of the events around the time of Madeline’s disappearance.
An image of the new suspect is said to be a crucial part of the appeal to be made at the beginning of next week.
Crimewatch will air on BBC One, Monday October 14th, at 9pm.
