The Dublin City Mararthon is due to take place on Sunday 29 October.

It will kick off at 9am at Merrion Square, with the route taking up 26 miles across the city, before ending up right back where it started.

The route will also remain open for seven hours, so anyone hoping to travel by car or bus through the city will need to be aware of road closures and diversions.

Here is the route for the marathon.

There will be diversions in place from 7pm on Friday 27 October until 6pm on Monday 30 October 2017.
