Prince William and Kate Middleton have released their highly anticipated annual Christmas card.
Every year, fans wait in suspense for the Royal Family to release their festive photo, with many excited to see the Prince and Princess of Wales as well as their three children, Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (10), and Prince Louis (7), all pictured together.
2025 isn’t the first year the family portrait has drawn commentary. Last year’s Christmas card sparked criticism for breaking tradition, as it appeared as a GIF with falling snow layered over a computer-generated image.
This year's Christmas card, on the other hand, has left fans fuming for an entirely different reason.
The image, released on Kensington Palace's social media, shows William and Kate sitting on the grass with their three children.
Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas.

The card's message reads: "Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas."
As many fans have pointed out, the picture, by photographer Josh Shinner, was taken in Norfolk back in April.
Many people have raised the claim that it wasn't 'Christmassy' enough.
One user wrote on X: "Very lovely - but not very seasonal is it? The children change so much, so fast, it would be lovely to have a more recent picture IMHO.
"But thank you for sharing it with us. Happy Christmas to you all."
One person wrote: "Where is the Christmas?" with another adding: "That photo is old and was taken in the spring."
