Johnny Ward, who plays Ciaran Holloway on Fair City, has put out a call for help online after a theft at his home in Dublin.

In a post on Facebook, the actor wrote that his motorbike had been taken from the front garden of his house in Walkinstown by ‘scumbags’.

“Guys! Please help me out!

“Some Scumbags have stolen my motorbike. My Suzuki Gsxr 600 was taken from my front garden in Walkinstown early this morning. They must have lifted it into a van as it was locked.”

He called for other to share any information they have

“Please Please can you share this post as I am so upset and please PM me with any info you may have. Everybody knows someone.”

The post has been shared over 5,000 time in the past three days, with friends of Johnny’s claiming that there have been other thefts in the area.

“The amount of bikes and cars been (sic) robbed is a disgrace,” said one.

“When is this going to stop, absolute scum,” wrote another.

As well as his current role, Johnny is also known for playing gangster Pauley in Love/Hate.

His Fair City character Ciarán hit headlines earlier this year over the drawn-out plot surrounding Katy’s kidnapping, which sparked a online petition to ‘Free Katy’.
