Fans spot awkward ‘Photoshop mistake’ in Meghan and Harry’s Christmas card

More specifically, several people have convinced themselves that the couple are guilty of a minor Photoshop mishap.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have done things differently this year in two key ways.

Firstly, they chose to reflect on the past 12 months by publishing a video compilation, rather than a single image, showcasing their humanitarian work via the Archewell platform.

Along with the videos, the royals shared a heartfelt New Year's message, reading: "On behalf of the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year."

They then shared a second holiday greeting: a never-before-seen image of Harry, Meghan, and their two children, Prince Archie (six) and Princess Lilibet (four).

The image shared on 44-year-old Meghan's Instagram shows the family standing on a bridge surrounded by greenery.

"Happy Holidays! From our family to yours," Meghan captioned the post.

However, some fans were rather quick to point out that the image appears to have been touched up using an editing app.

They pointed out a faint smudge visible above Prince Harry’s head, along with a chunk of the 41-year-old’s head that appears to be missing.

One user took to Reddit to point out the dodgy edit: "What happened with the editing? The back of Harry’s head is missing above the hairline," with another writing: "Looks like they used the stamp tool in Photoshop. The chunk of head floating above his head when you zoom in."

However, this isn't the first time the royals have been accused of using Photoshop to edit their pictures.

Earlier this year, Meghan was accused of digitally altering a photo of herself and Prince Harry shared to mark their seventh wedding anniversary.
