Gardaí are appealing for information after a 96-year-old woman was robbed in her own home in Waterford city.
According to reports the woman was sleeping when two men, aged late teens/early 20s, broke into her house at approximately 3.00am this morning.
They dragged her out of bed and threatened her before stealing some property. She was not physically harmed during the incident.
Gardaí have not made any arrests but have asked anyone with information to contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
