An investigation is under way in a boarding school in Dublin following sexual assault allegations.
One of the pupils, believed to be 13 years of age, is claiming to have been sexually assaulted by up to eight pupils. The Gardaí and Tusla, the child and family agency, are investigating the incident which happened on Thursday of last week.
The school first reported the incident on Tuesday, November 29th.

The Irish Times, eight pupils have been suspended while the Gardaí conduct their investigation. The alleged victim of the crime has remained at school under the parents instructions.
The board of the school are due to meet to discuss the matter.
The Principal of the school confirmed the investigation but would not release a statement on the matter.
