Gardaí investigating after body of woman in her late teens discovered in Sligo
The body was found in Ballinode.
Gardaí have launched an investigation after the body of a woman in her late teens was found in Sligo.

In a statement to JOE, a Garda spokesperson said the discovery was made in Ballinode on Thursday (3 February).
The woman’s body has since been moved from the scene and a post-mortem will take place in due course.
Gardaí say the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
It’s understood that foul play is not suspected at this time.
