As hunting season continues - we’re getting even MORE excited!

Who’d like to get their hands on a few Cadbury Creme Eggs? Better yet, who’d love to get their mitts on a huge €1000 prize if you prove you’re the finest Cadbury Creme Egg hunter in all of Kilkenny? On Wednesday February 21, you, or your team of fine hunters will have the chance to prove your love for the glorious Cadbury Creme Egg, selfies, and your thirst for the cash prize. Here’s what’s happening: The hunt will begin at 12:15pm and the Her team will meet you then at the starting point - the pig on Parliament Street, opposite Bank of Ireland and Lifestyle Sports - where you can collect your Cadbury Creme Egg to begin. You’ll be given a vital list of coordinates which you’ll need to keep safe, as this is crucial for reaching as many of the 12 locations as possible. At each of the given locations, all you need to do is post a selfie on Twitter using the Cadbury Creme Egg hashtag #CremeEggHuntingSeason. From here, you’ll need to complete the exact same selfie snap at each point - posting it to Twitter in the exact same way as the first.

The lucky ducks who reach all 12 locations, having taken a selfie at each AND who return to the starting point first, will nab the terrific €1000 prize! Remember though, you must have proof of all 12 selfies taken at each location, and this proof needs to be on Twitter. If you’re looking for some Cadbury Creme Egg hunting inspiration - those Corkonians set the standard pretty high last week with skills unlike anything witnessed before - those eager beavers.

And one last but equally important point to note - be sure to get creative with those selfies and Tweets. It’s going to be worth it because the most creative bunch (or solo hunter) will get themselves a superb prize too, while the runners up are in for a treat also. Don't forget to bring portable phone chargers if you think you might need them for the day that's in it. You'll likely be using Twitter (please be sure you have an account) and Google Maps a bit more than usual.
