Great news! 520 new finance roles will open up across the country this year

They’re hiring a lot of graduates. Good news for anyone you know in the sector.

EY, formerly known as Ernst & Young, has announced plans to create more than 520 jobs across their seven Irish offices.

In terms of the profiles that they’re looking for, 215 of this roles will be filled by experienced candidates with the remaining posts being offered to graduates in September. They state that salaries for experienced hires will average upwards of €65,000 per annum.

The roles include areas such as data analytics, IT advisory and transformation, digital strategy, and customer experience.

Speaking ahead of the job announcement, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said:

“With more people than ever before at work in Ireland, the Government wants to support the creation of not just more jobs, but better jobs. So I am delighted that EY is announcing the creation of more than 500 high-quality positions, providing opportunities in the areas such as accounting, science, engineering and technology”.

145 of the new roles will be based in EY’s two Dublin offices, with the remaining spread across EY’s other five offices in Ireland – Belfast, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford.
