A Garda investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was found in Dublin this morning.
At around 6 am this morning, passers-by alerted Gardaí after the woman’s body was spotted in the grounds of St Michan’s Church on Church Street.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a post-mortem is expected to take place later today.
A technical examination is taking place and Gardaí have said that the investigations into circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are ongoing.
