Lotto bosses are urging players to check their tickets as the person is yet to come forward to claim the incredible prize.
The Lotto player won the jackpot after matching six figures and the bonus number in the draw which were - 8, 9, 14, 30, 42, 47 and the Bonus 16.
The National Lottery have not yet revealed the location of the winning ticket, but the winner now has 90 days to claim their prize.
On the chance that the winner doesn't claim their prize within the allotted time, the winnings will be put towards promoting the National Lottery, increasing the funds raised for good causes.
There were a total of 87,000 players across Ireland winning prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, with 30 players winning €1,313 each after matching five numbers.
However, nobody won the Lotto Plus One or Lotto Plus Two jackpots.
There were 79 winners of the Raffle Prize each receiving €500, the winning raffle number is 4563.
This week's big win comes as players in Kerry and Monaghan are being urged to check their tickets after one player in each county won a whopping €85,936.
In Monaghan, the player bought a winning Quick Pick ticket on Friday, August 9 in Mace, Drummond, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
The winner in Co Kerry bought their ticket on Saturday, August 10 in Hegarty’s Supermarket & Filling Station, Muckross, Killarney, Co Kerry.
